Surfish Bistro

Last night I went to Surfish in Park Slope, Brooklyn . The chef is Miguel Aguilar, he won on the show Chopped on The Food Network, and he was trained by Bobby Flay.

When you first walk in the restaurant it is small, but you feel the love.  When I tried the food, oh my god!  The food was amazing.  It was basically tapas and entrees.  My cousin and I ordered carnitas taquitos,  chicharron sliders and mussels.  The carnitas and chicharron are both pork.  The carnitas had some guacamole and creama. When I first saw the sliders I thought it was crazy and weird, but when I took a bite of it was so good because it had different flavors in your mouth and it's a party in your mouth.  The sliders had sweet potoatoes and salsa criolla.  One word...AMAZING!  I could have that everyday, that's how good it was.  This was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The people there are also so sweet and nice.   Looking forward to going back
